剧情介绍
民国初年，江州某学堂的学生苏文慧（佟丽娅饰）因家遭变故，沦为临溪首富“百德堂”的一个丫环。百德堂女主人楚念琪 楚念琪和女儿雪韵（高英饰）因身患绝症，预将百德堂传给女儿雪韵（海陆饰），她掩饰着自己的病情，还得处处提防丈夫陈天衡（赵文瑄饰）对财产的觊觎。但雪韵却因看不惯百德堂的封闭腐朽的家庭争斗，立誓要走出大屋，去寻找自由、光明。在这个危机四伏的大屋里，雪韵和慧带领着丫环芍(于峻 饰)、荔(李玥饰)、菊（袁姗姗饰）开始了艰难的反抗，同时，生活也教会她们自尊、自爱，她们懂得了只有知识才能改变她们的命运。最终，在慧等人的努力下，楚念琪明白了新的时代无法抗拒，在和慧联手粉碎了陈天衡的阴谋后，将百德堂交给女儿。重获自由的丫环终于在北伐胜利之时，冲破了桎梏百德堂百年之久的封建枷锁，将它改建成了一所女子学校——百德女校。
